Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Scouting in England has now moved to the AMBER readiness level. This means that sections can meet again in small groups once they have fully satisfied the requirements laid out by The Scout Association (see link below). Click here for our guidance on Return to Scouting

Meanwhile other face to face meetings are banned. We are still Scouting in The Malverns just in different ways. We are still holding regular events, setting challenges and sending out badges and awards.

The safety of everyone involved in Scouts, both young people and adults, is our number one priority. For further details please see the information on The Scout Association website by clicking here.

Welcome to our new Website

We are still developing this new District website and we hope that you like it.

If you spot any particular problems or anything that is wrong, please let us know. You can use our contact form (scroll down below or use the Contact tab at the top of each page) to send us the full details and we will do our best to get them corrected as soon as we can.

Meanwhile thank you for your patience and support while we develop this website and get everything right.

Who we are

We are Scouts The Malverns, part of the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation.

We change lives by offering 6- to 25-year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and skills for life.

Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

There’s always a lot going on in Scouting, from meetings for young people almost every day of the week to camps, activities and adventures every weekend! These can be a Beaver’s first night away from home all the way up to an Explorer or Network member climbing to to top of their first mountain.

Scouts The Malverns

The Malverns Scout District covers a large area in both Herefordshire and Worcestershire, all around the Malvern Hills, including:

There are 11 Scout Groups (mostly with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts), 5 Explorer Scout Units and Scout Network. The District has its own campsite Warren Oak near Staplow. Scouts Recycled (Active Support) and the Baden-Powell Guild are also very active in our District.
