Who we are

We are Scouts The Malverns, part of the UK’s biggest mixed youth organisation. We change lives by offering 6 to 25 year olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and skills for life. Unfortunately we don’t yet have any Squirrels (4 to 6) in the District, but we are keen to start Squirrels if we can find enough new volunteers.

Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

There’s always a lot going on in Scouting, from meetings for young people almost every day of the week to camps, activities and adventures every weekend! These can be a Beaver’s first night away from home all the way up to an Explorer or Network member climbing to to top of their first mountain.

Scouts The Malverns

The Malverns Scout District covers a large area in both Herefordshire and Worcestershire, all around the Malvern Hills, including:

There are 11 Scout Groups (mostly with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts), 5 Explorer Scout Units and Scout Network. The District has its own campsite Warren Oak near Staplow. Scouts Recycled (Active Support) and the Baden-Powell Guild are also very active in our District.
